APPLICATION
The 3D ImageVector — NEO — is suitable for UAV pilots who want to provide their images with coordinates and solid angles for terrestrial images as well. In surveying he is used to survey initial image centers for terrestrial photogrammetry. However, most applications still require control points. The 3D Image Vector — NEO — is used in aerial photography of helicopters “by hand, with the door open”. For documentation and surveying purposes, the images can be located (“geotagging”) and further processed. By location and angle determination of the images visualizations can be created such: Wind turbines, antenna masts, poles, etc.

AIM
The 3D ImageVector — NEO — enables the recording of the GNSS position and the solid angles to any image with a position accuracy of up to 2m (reception dependent) and 1° angle repeatability. Note: Accuracy class is similar to that of UAV autopilot navigation.

SPECIFICATION
The 3D ImageVector — NEO- – is a GNSS / IMU camera add-on for photogrammetric application. Connection to the camera is via ISO or Sony hot shoe. It includes a modern ublox NeoM8N GNSS chip with GPS + GLONASS + BEIDOU + Galileo reduction for position accuracy, as well as a WAAS/SBAS signal correction up to 2m positional accuracy (receiver dependent). The 3D ImageVector — NEO — is equipped with state-of-the-art 9x Axis MEMS IMU with quaternion roughness and anti-drift filter algorithm.

LOGGER
The logger has an autonomous power supply of approx. 4h during normal operation. The LEDs signal the quality of the reception. To reset the data, a new logfile button is attached.

RED TOOLBOX
The REDToolbox is included in the purchase of one of our products. The REDToolbox is a geotagging software for combining the ImageVector logfile with the image data. The software performs a validity check of the GNSS signal and quality output. It is easy to use and calculates with robust algorithms. The following output data is created: Google Earth KML Output, Raw Data Output, AgiSoft Photoscan, Pix4D and Reality Capture Output. The REDToolbox is compatible with Win7, Win10 x64 / x32.

The following products are included in the purchase of the 3D ImageVector — NEO –: camera add-on, data logger, charger, USB data cable and the software REDtoolbox.
