[cm] accurate GNSS for any DSLR cameras

Need to add [cm] accurate geotags to your photos? The GNSS HotshoeRTK universal add-on is compatible to any DSLR Digital cameras with an ISO (center-pin) hot shoe.

How it works

1) Turn on and wait for satellite reception

The device is self powered with integrated battery and Bluetooth connection. Turn on and LED will signalise the number of satellites available for position calculation.

2) Connect to Smartphone and NTRIP caster

You will need to have an Android 10+ smartphone** connected to the HotshoeRTK add-on via Bluetooth to (a) receive correction data*** over internet and (b) record the GNSS logging files. A LED will indicate a FIX solution once connected and you receive [cm] accurate geotags.

3) Take photos

Every time you take a photo, a very very precise timestamp with accurate GNSS coordinate is logged on the smartphone.
To ensure the trigger is recorded correctly, an LED will signalise the trigger.

4) write EXIF information

You receive REDtoolbox software (included with hardware) to write EXIF/XMP GNSS information into photos. This includes the coordinates as well as the accuracy.
